Community Living
Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind or forgotten. Here at Surfing The Nations we believe that life is meant to be shared with others so we have developed an intentional community that believes in affirmation, accountability, and serving one another. You will be living in dorm style housing with other interns and members of the STN ohana.
Schedule
Let me break it down for you. About 40 percent of your time will be spent in various teachings and trainings, 40 percent serving in our outreach programs, and 20 percent hard core adventuring. While the week to week schedule is fairly consistent, every day looks different and you will always be experiencing new and exciting things throughout your program.
Curriculum
The Surfers Giving Back Project focuses on character development and personal growth through various teachings and trainings. During your internship you will learn what it looks like to lead yourself well in order to help lead others.
Main Outreaches
You’ll spend your time getting to know the families and surfers that we’ve been connecting with through the years. We’ll get creative together with the ways we will serve and give back to them.
